

- NO HELMET NO RIDE! STRIP HELMETS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE.
- All cyclists participating in the 130Km, 75Km and 45Km races must be licensed
or purchase a day license.
- Receipt of postal entries will only be acknowledged
if a fax number or e-mail address has been supplied.
- Number plates must be affixed to the
handlebars.
- Cyclists must obey all traffic rules and traffic
officials, marshals, officials and route signs, otherwise they will be
disqualified.
- Cyclists to keep to the left of the road/path to
allow a free flow of traffic. Cyclists must pull off the road/path to do
repairs.

Cyclists must STOP at water points if they wish to receive
refreshments.
- No cyclist may deviate from the route. A sweep
marshal will collect stranded cyclists.
- NO LITTERING WILL BE ALLOWED!!!.
- NO SMOKING OR OPEN FIRES WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE
ROUTE.
- An adult participant must accompany children under
10 years of age at all times.
- No seconds or vehicles are allowed to follow the
cyclists.
- The race referee will adjudicate on any dispute
including the interpretation of these rules and his ruling shall be final
and binding.
- The organisers shall be entitled, if they deem it
necessary, to amend, delete, or add to these rules.
- Cyclists
who are not present at the prize giving ceremony will forfeit their prizes.
